Start with measurements
Size names are not consistent across sellers. A medium in one listing may fit differently from a medium in another, and photos do not show how an item will fit your body. Look for the seller’s actual measurements and the measurement method before selecting an option.
Measure a similar item you already own and like. For a top, compare chest width, shoulder width, length and sleeve length; for trousers, compare waist, rise and inseam where available. Lay the garment flat and use the same units as the seller’s chart. Convert units carefully before comparing.
Understand the listing
Check whether a chart describes the garment itself or suggested body measurements. Review the material, intended fit and any stated tolerance. A loose jacket and a fitted shirt may need different allowances even if their numerical measurements look similar. If the chart is incomplete, ask for the missing dimension before ordering.
For shoes, compare the seller’s sizing guidance and any available insole or foot-length information. Different brands and styles may use different conversions. A size label by itself cannot establish comfort, and a photo will not reveal how a shoe feels when worn.
Review the warehouse photos
When available, compare visible size labels and measurements with your order. Check whether the measurement is taken along the expected edge and whether the item is lying flat. If a key dimension is missing or unclear, ask PikoBuy whether a detailed photograph can be requested and what it costs.
An inspection image can identify an obvious mismatch, but it does not guarantee fit. Review any issue promptly and check the current return conditions before shipping. Preserve the order details and the listing’s chart in case you need to explain the discrepancy.
